How To Get to Great Barrington:
Our Great Barrington dispensary is located in, you guessed it, Great Barrington, MA, which is about 2.5 hours from New York City. The easiest way to get here is by car as there is no public transit that passes through Great Barrington.
Two train options get you to the Berkshires. You can take Amtrak up the Hudson River to Hudson, NY (one of the more beautiful train rides in the United States.) From there, you can hire a car or arrange a ride for the 50-minute drive to Great Barrington. Or you can take Metro North from Grand Central Station to the Wassaic station, where you are about 45 minutes from our Great Barrington dispensary by car.
Where to Stay / Local Activities:
Great Barrington and The Berkshires Mountains have been popular tourist destinations for the last 200 years. There is skiing in the winter (Catamount, Butternut) and endless outdoor and cultural offerings in the summer. Stockbridge, MA – made iconic by artist Norman Rockwell – is just 10 minutes away. Nearby Lennox, MA is home to the famous Tanglewood Summer Music Festival. One of our favorite places to visit is Naumkeag, an iconic Berkshire Cottage and one of the finest shingle style homes in America.
The area accommodations range from exclusive retreats, to rustic AirBNB cottages, to boutique hotels. The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge first opened its doors when America still belonged to the British crown.
What to Expect When You Arrive at Farnsworth’s Great Barrington Dispensary:
We are located on Main Street, right in the heart of downtown Great Barrington. There is plenty of free parking either directly in the lot, or we have additional street parking and a second parking lot just across the street.
Make sure to bring a government issued ID that shows that you are at least 21 years of age. We accept all major credit cards.
